Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Busser to join our team at Jalapeno Tree Mexican Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dining area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and reset tables in accordance with our high standards.
  • Clear used dishes, utensils, and glassware from tables and transport them to the kitchen efficiently.
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
  • Replenish supplies and assist with stocking items in the service area.
  • Read and comprehend labels on chemicals and material safety data sheets (MSDS).
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including trash disposal and organizing dining supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure a smooth dining experience for our guests.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You should also be able to stand for prolonged periods, move at a rapid pace, bend, twist, and lift products weighing up to 50 pounds. Prior experience working in a restaurant is preferred, but not required.
