Job Summary

Apple is seeking a highly skilled Analog Layout Designer to join our team. As a member of the Analog Layout team, you will be responsible for designing complex layouts for mixed signal and analog circuits in various deep submicron CMOS technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex analog and mixed signal layouts for various CMOS technologies.
  • Collaborate with circuit designers to review and analyze floorplans and complex circuits.
  • Run a complete set of physical design verification tools to ensure design accuracy and quality.
  • Work with the layout and circuit design teams to plan and schedule work, and negotiate layout tradeoffs as needed.

Requirements

  • BS degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of analog layout fundamentals, electromigration, IR drop, parasitics, and other relevant concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong technical leadership and schedule management skills.
  • High proficiency in interpreting and debugging Calibre results.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Unix and CAD environments.
