MercyOne Clinton is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our well-established practice in Clinton, Iowa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical oncology and hematology services to patients in Clinton, IA, with occasional rotations to Genesis Health System in Davenport, IA.
  • Split time 30/70 between Hematology and Medical Oncology.
  • Minimal after-hour calls by phone only.
  • Practice is attached to the hospital.
  • See an average of 30 patients per day, with a patient population of adults and geriatrics.
  • New patient visits allocated 30 minutes, follow-up patients 15 minutes.
  • Supported by four RNs, MA, CNA, and a receptionist.
  • Hospitalists available to cover infusions, if needed.
  • Onsite Radiation Oncology is an outreach of the University of Iowa.
  • Strong primary care network of providers for internal referrals.
  • Practice in a professionally managed and thriving state-of-the-art facility with full ancillary services.
Requirements
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology.
  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Hematology.
  • IA license (or willing to obtain).
  • Clean Malpractice (preferred).
  • Does the provider require visa support (J1 or H1B)?
