Job Title: Analytical Chemist

PDI is seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist to join our team. As an Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for the accurate analysis of incoming raw materials, bulk liquids, and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diversified chemical testing as needed by current USP, SOPs, WIs, and NPTM on raw materials, bulk liquids, and finished products.
  • Conduct wet chemical titration to determine the percentage of activity on various solutions and raw materials, bulk liquids, and finished products.
  • Determine the percentage of various components as required by specifications.
  • Perform identification of various chemicals or formulations as per methodology USP/NF and other test requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or other related science.
  • Minimum of 3-6 years' experience in a laboratory environment (Analytical Chemistry Lab preferred).
  • GC, HPLC, Wet Chemistry experience.
Working Conditions:
  • Incumbents in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, lifting materials weighing up to 30 pounds, vision to monitor and moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Incumbents may be exposed to or work with toxic materials, toxic gases, electrical hazards, dangerous tools and equipment.
