Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Providence Saint John's Health Center. As a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using various equipment, including CT scanners.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, using Philips Big Bore 16 and Brilliance 64 scanners.
  • Operate equipment, such as scanners, and ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols, including MAKO protocols, CTA Coronary, and general interventional procedures.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and ensure a positive experience for all patients.
Requirements
  • 1 year of recent experience in radiologic technology, with a focus on CT imaging.
  • AHA BLS certification and ARRT registration.
  • EPIC experience, with no training provided.
  • LA Fire card, obtained within 30 days of hire (substitution allowed).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with MAKO protocols, CTA Coronary, and general interventional procedures.
  • Knowledge of Philips Big Bore 16 and Brilliance 64 scanners.
Work Environment

This position will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, supporting outpatients and inpatients in a certified comprehensive stroke center hospital with 234 beds.
