Nexus Health Systems Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Neuropsychologist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing and/or overseeing neuropsychological assessment and diagnostic consultation services for our patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the scope of duties and services provided are consistent and within the Texas State Board of Psychological Examiners guidelines.
- Provide neuropsychological evaluations to our facility patient population.
- Provide professional guidance, training, and supervision to other professionals, interns, graduate students, and/or fellows.
- Provide administrative leadership in the execution of clinical support operations.
- Participate in the facility admissions process.
- Collaborate with facility program directors to ensure clients receive appropriate clinical services as per goals, treatment plans, and behavioral management plans.
- Attend rounds and family conferences for facility residents.
- Participate in marketing and referral development as deemed appropriate by the facility administrator.
- Assume responsibility for communicating with corporate facility officers, owners, partners on a regular and as-needed basis to ensure development and operations consistent with company policy and philosophy.
- Ensure compliance and good standing with licensing, certification, and accreditation groups.
- Train direct care staff members on various behavior and psychology topics throughout the year.
- Actively participate in new program development and program enhancement.
- Supervise psychometrist(s).
- Complete neuropsychological screens on all transitional patients as guidance for treatment.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop the resident's treatment plan.
- Assist Program Directors with the development of individualized behavior plans as needed.
- Lead special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology/Psychology.
- Minimum five years experience in a similar or like position.
- Licensure in the state of Texas.
- Must obtain current tuberculosis test within the first fourteen (14) days of employment and annually after that.
- Maintain current certification in good standing during employment with this facility, or obtain it within thirty (30) days of hire.
