Job Overview

Position: Order Picker
Compensation: $17 / hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
Location: Plano, TX

A global leader in electronics manufacturing is seeking a skilled Order Picker to enhance their operational team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Retrieve items and products based on specified locations and quantities from shop orders, pick lists, or requisitions.
  • Organize and stage selected products on carts or pallets for delivery to the distribution checkpoint.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory storage areas while assisting with overall warehouse upkeep.
  • Ensure proper packing of items using protective materials to maintain product quality during transportation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and report any safety issues to the Warehouse Coordinator.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant warehouse or receiving experience is necessary.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools is essential.
  • Forklift operation experience is mandatory (including sit-down, stand-up, and pallet jack).
  • Strong attention to detail and basic math skills are required.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Physical demands include prolonged standing, lifting, and reaching to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Must be capable of lifting items up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders up to 15 feet, and operating various material handling equipment.
