Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Robotic Welder to join our team at Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. in Mayville, WI.

About the Job:

As a Robotic Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality and workmanship consistent with the company's manufacturing objectives. You will follow safety guidelines, monitor use of safety devices, and maintain departmental housekeeping. Additionally, you will be trained and certified for all welding operations, methods, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for product quality, workmanship, and process applications consistent with the company's manufacturing objectives.
  • Follows safety guidelines and monitors use of safety devices, equipment, departmental housekeeping, and maintains constant alert for hazardous conditions.
  • Maintain conformance with Company work rules and regulations.
  • Trained and certified for all welding operations, methods, and processes.
  • Operational and Setup knowledge of automated and robotic weld cells.
  • Operational and Setup knowledge of resistance welders.
  • Knowledgeable on Welding Specification requirements, print reading, and weld evaluation techniques.
  • Weld process, automated fixture and machine trouble shooting skills.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one year related experience and/or training is preferred.
  • Ability to train and work with others (Team Concept).
  • Ability to do basic math.
  • Be able to lift and move 50 pounds.
  • AWS certified or the ability to become AWS certified.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Displays ethical behavior and acts with integrity.
  • Reliability.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
