JOB DESCRIPTION


Our client, The Computer Merchant, LTD., is in search of an Identity Access Management Architect to support the strategic development and operational execution of a comprehensive Enterprise-wide
IAM framework across various internal and client-facing applications.

The
IAM Architect will take charge of delivering architectural and technical solutions, focusing on the modernization of the
IAM framework to align with industry standards and best practices.

This role will involve collaboration with business stakeholders and application development teams across multiple sectors to implement a secure, standards-based
IAM solution.


The primary work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, with a hybrid model of in-office and remote workdays as necessary.

This position may require occasional after-hours support as authorized and needed.

DETAILED LIST OF JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical leadership in
IAM technologies, architectures, and solutions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and application development teams to define, architect, and implement a secure, standards-based
IAM solution that is scalable, robust, and meets business requirements while adhering to security guidelines.

Architect solutions for dynamic environments utilizing Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, containers, microservices, stateless architectures, and APIs.

Document and present technical architecture and design, emphasizing architectural standards, growth, performance, flexibility, reliability, scalability, and security.

Develop detailed plans and execution strategies in security administration to cater to applications handling sensitive data.

Define, plan, and design innovative Identity Management solutions for B2B and B2C segments of
IAM.

Lead technical initiatives between teams to proactively address issues related to applications, performance, infrastructure, and configurations, serving as a final escalation point for
IAM tools while ensuring accurate documentation is maintained.

Foster a strong understanding of
IAM best practices by building robust relationships and engaging proactively to manage and track access securely.

Develop seamless migration strategies from legacy
IAM integrations with minimal disruption to business processes and user experiences.

Oversee new developments and lifecycle management of services related to Identity Governance and Administration.

Identify, implement, and enhance current processes by recognizing gaps and recommending changes to support controls, data quality, security risk reduction, scalability, efficiency, and compliance.

Collaborate with application owners and leaders to resolve business and technical challenges involved in deploying and governing identity services.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Two (2) years of experience as an
IAM Architect utilizing modern enterprise authentication and access management technologies.

Four (4) years of experience as a lead
IAM Developer for large-scale enterprise applications.

Eight (8) years of IT experience providing solutions and integrations in a large technology enterprise environment.

Professional experience in the healthcare domain is preferred.

Proven hands-on experience with developing/architecting solutions using two or more leading
IAM Solution providers such as Azure AD, Oracle OAIM, and ForgeRock.

Demonstrated experience with performance management and capacity planning for large-scale enterprise applications.

Thorough understanding of modern enterprise architecture and hands-on experience with Enterprise Application frameworks.

Excellent knowledge of authentication protocols such as
SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, MFA, and Risk-Based Authentication.

Ability to translate business strategies and project portfolios into short and long-term architectural plans, detailed requirements, and models.

Strong understanding of risk management, disaster recovery, business continuity, IT security architecture, and IT regulatory compliance.

Ability to create estimations of time and resource requirements for various activities and determine which can be executed in parallel or sequentially.

Methodical and able to adhere to documented procedures and instructions.

Ability to maintain meticulous documentation of processes, architecture, and solutions.

Strong multitasking and time management skills with effective prioritization abilities.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the capacity to independently analyze reported issues, document, and recommend solutions.

Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical staff, as well as upper management.

Excellent communication and writing skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences across all organizational levels.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Cyber Security Certification preferred.
CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification preferred.
