Job Summary

This Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator opportunity at Sentara CarePlex Hospital offers a challenging and rewarding career path with opportunities for professional growth and development. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area and provide clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate activities to meet the needs of patients and families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
  • Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible for licensure by examination
  • At least 18 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting
