Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement system architecture for compute, hardware, virtual, OS, storage, networking, and security.
  • Translate researcher IT needs into robust and scalable IT solutions and infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the development of Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CICD) processes using DevOps and DevSecOps principles.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code and cross-domain data exchange and systems integration.
  • Manage virtual machines and validate security control configuration on systems.
  • Collaborate with customers and external teams to derive tasks from detailed requirements.
  • Provide tasking to other team members and software and merge request code reviews.
  • Act as the primary gatekeeper for infrastructure as code merges and ensure software adheres to coding standards and practices.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to obtain Top Secret, SCI, and SAP access.
  • Minimum education: completed bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum experience level: completed Bachelor's and 5+ years professional experience or completed Masters and 3+ years.
  • Windows 10, Server 2016, Server 2019, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (preferred but primarily Windows shop), Cisco IOS management.
  • Strong virtual machine management, Active Directory management, PowerShell scripting, and Windows Server Update Services.
  • Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (NIST/DISA/etc.) and secure computing.
  • Experience with System Architecture Design and server builds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps processes and principles.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Directive 8570.1 IAT Level II compliance within 6 months of hire.

Compensation

$127K – $190K depending on level of education and experience.
