About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our production and sustainment team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of fighter aircraft flight equipment systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and support for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of fighter aircraft flight equipment systems.
  • Collaborate with production and sustainment teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and maintain 6S/lean processes.
  • Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior team members on aircraft maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • 8 years' experience in aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, modification, repair, and overhaul.
  • Experience with maintaining, inspecting, testing, certifying, repairing, and assembling aircrew life support equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to understand aircraft work instructions and safety protocols.
  • Champion of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control measures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with F-16/ACES II parachute/survival kit in aircraft production.
  • Previous Martin Baker experience.
  • Experience with Shop Floor Manager/Solumina.
  • Previous Quality Inspector experience.
  • Previous Training Instructor experience.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a 4x10 hour day schedule, with 3 days off per week.
