Job Responsibilities
As a Surgical Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the surgical team by providing necessary instruments and maintaining an organized operating room.
- Adhering to strict aseptic techniques during surgical procedures.
- Preparing and managing surgical instruments and supplies for various procedures.
- Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a surgical facility or completion of a military surgical technology training program, or graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech Program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Less than one year of healthcare experience.
