About the Opportunity

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Hours:

8:30am to 5:30pm

Setting:

Outpatient

Call:

No Call

Responsibilities:

The Psychiatrist will:

  • Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
  • Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, and social workers to discuss care plans and progress in a collaborative team approach model.
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results.
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
  • Review patient's history and perform physical examination.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care for disorders and diseases.

Qualifications:

Current unrestricted NY medical license, Board Certified/Eligible in Psychiatry (MD/DO), DEA, BLS, and ACLS.

Desired Skills:

Academic experience preferred, 2 years of experience in a previous mental health setting, outpatient clinic, or hospital.
