Instrumentation Technician Lead:

Marathon Petroleum is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electrical, electronic, and control equipment at terminal facilities, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.

This role requires the ability to install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on various systems such as PLCs, tank gauging, and control systems. You will also need to demonstrate safe work practices and follow all applicable company policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of instrumentation technicians in performing routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Develop and implement plans for preventive maintenance programs.
  • Train and mentor junior technicians.
  • Collaborate with project leaders and other technicians to ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in a related field
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
• Leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Willingness to travel up to 15%
