Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs custodial duties and ensures sanitation control. Maintains offices, buildings, or plant facilities in clean and orderly condition. Key responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, polishing floors, removing trash, and cleaning furniture. Ensures a safe and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors. Collaborates with other departments to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Utilizes cleaning equipment and supplies to achieve high standards of cleanliness. Demonstrates a commitment to excellence in custodial services. Reports to the Facilities Manager and works closely with other custodial staff to achieve departmental goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and restrooms. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent problem-solving skills. The custodian will also be responsible for reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the Facilities Manager. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in custodial work. The selected candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends. The custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and restrooms.
