As a Travel ICU RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to interventions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical and emotional evaluations, to identify potential health risks and develop strategies for prevention and intervention.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Ability to work 36 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending.
