About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Budget Analyst to join our team at V2X. As a key member of our program management team, you will be responsible for developing and managing budgets, schedules, and financial forecasts for our government contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Manage Budgets: Create and maintain detailed budgets, schedules, and financial forecasts for assigned programs, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to support program management decisions, including estimates to complete, spend plans, and financial assessments.
  • Program Planning and Coordination: Participate in establishing and defining program plan requirements, conducting program plan studies, and monitoring performance against plans to ensure contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
  • Subcontractor Management: Audit subcontractor invoices and provide briefings and related documentation and reports for financial assessments supporting corporate and government requirements.
  • Financial Forecasting and Risk Management: Forecast and track financial results throughout the year to meet budget projections, identify financial or operating risks associated with the execution of contracts or projects, and provide project summary status reports to management as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent, and two-four years of related experience, or Associates Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration with four years plus related experience.
  • Experience: Knowledge of DAR/FAR and other applicable government regulations, experience in integrated program analysis, budget preparation for complex projects, and narrative justification, preparation and presentation, and work with various types of government funding with emphasis on Army.
  • Skills: Demonstrated expertise in the use of Microsoft Excel applications, US Citizenship, Top Secret (TS) security clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrination.
