Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Department of State Hospitals - Coalinga. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments, facilitating psychotherapy groups and individual therapy, and developing and implementing treatment plans for forensic patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify patient needs and develop treatment plans
- Facilitate psychotherapy groups and individual therapy sessions to promote patient recovery and well-being
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address patient needs and goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Provide accurate and complete reports and documentation in accordance with professional standards and hospital policies
- Master's or doctoral degree in psychology or a related field
- Current licensure as a psychologist in the state of California
- Experience working with forensic patients and developing treatment plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
The employee is required to work any shift and schedule in a variety of settings throughout the hospital and may be required to work overtime and float to other work locations as determined by the operational needs of the hospital.
Special Requirements- The position requires a Drug Screening be passed prior to being hired.
- The position requires a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
- The position requires Medical Clearance prior to being hired.
