About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Sovah Health - Danville. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
- Current VA (or Multi-state) RN license
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelors degree preferred)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Experience in clinical area preferred
- American Heart Association ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
