Job OverviewPosition Summary

We are currently seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Bone and Joint Rehabilitation Services (BJRS). The PT will play a crucial role in administering therapeutic interventions aimed at alleviating pain, restoring functionality, enhancing mobility, and preventing disabilities resulting from various health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish patient diagnoses and develop tailored plans of care (POC) with specific, patient-centered goals.
  2. Implement high-quality therapeutic interventions while adhering to ethical and legal standards.
  3. Promote wellness and fitness programs to support patient health post-discharge.
  4. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for all patient interactions and treatment plans.

Qualifications
  • Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Tennessee.
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate) are preferred.
  • Experience in outpatient and/or sports medicine physical therapy is advantageous.

Work Environment
The position is set within an outpatient rehabilitation facility, where the PT will engage with a diverse patient population. The role requires effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring patients.
