Key Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist (PT, DPT, RPT) in Home Health will:

  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to mobility, endurance, pain, and other medical conditions.
  • Develop treatment plans based on thorough assessments and evaluations.
  • Implement interventions aimed at enhancing the patient's overall well-being.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians to create effective therapy plans.
  • Document and report patient responses to treatment and any changes in condition.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding care plans and progress.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Alabama
  • Current CPR certification
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, along with access to reliable transportation
