About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Med Tech to join our team at JCare Senior Living Community in Oak Park. As a Med Tech, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our valued residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Administer medications and injections to residents based on physicians' orders, accurately documenting all medication administration.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures, to ensure the well-being of residents and staff.
  • Monitor residents' conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor.
  • Follow established procedures for documenting medications and maintaining accurate records.
  • Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety.
  • Assist other team members with their duties as needed.
  • Respond to call lights and assess residents' needs promptly.
  • Obtain meal trays and assist with eating.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
