Manufacturing Specialist

Volt Workforce Solutions is currently hiring a Manufacturing Specialist to join our team in the Cloverdale, CA area.

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$29 per hour. As a Manufacturing Specialist, you will be responsible for operating the plasma-arc foundry to produce metal powder for 3D printing and assisting with powder processing, including sieving, separating, and packaging. Your duties will include:

• Operating the foundry to melt and atomize high-performance alloys used for 3D printing.
• Setting up and operating production sieving systems to separate the granular powder into different size categories for various 3D printing system requirements.
• Handling and packaging manufactured powders according to safety procedures and operational quality specifications.
• Monitoring production manufacturing process sensors and capturing critical quality and manufacturing process data parameters.
• Working safely with high-power plasma, vacuum, and high-pressure gas systems.
• Maintaining, troubleshooting issues, and repairing equipment as needed.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing facility.
• Hands-on experience with machinery and machine process troubleshooting.
• Experience maintaining a production performance log.
• Able to perform basic calculations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Reasonable hand-eye coordination.
• Commitment to working safely and looking out for the safety of others.
