Director of Clinical Research Job Description

Cleveland Clinic Foundation is seeking an exceptional Director of Clinical Research to lead our Movement Disorders and Functional Neurosurgery Section in Northeast Ohio.

About the Opportunity

This dynamic position commands a competitive salary enhanced by an attractive benefits package. The estimated annual salary range for this role is $180,000 - $220,000 based on industry standards and location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and growing our clinical trials and research program, collaborating with world-class clinicians and leaders throughout the Neurological Institute, and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement research strategies to advance the field of Movement Disorders and Functional Neurosurgery
  • Lead a team of research coordinators, biostatisticians, and clinical trial design experts
  • Collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, psychologists, and advanced practice providers to develop and execute clinical trials
  • Design and implement studies to investigate new treatments and technologies for movement disorders and functional neurosurgery
Requirements
  • Advanced training in Movement Disorders and Deep Brain Stimulation
  • Experience in clinical trials and research leadership
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Familiarity with research supervision and coordination
  • Ability to teach medical students, residents, and fellows
