Job Responsibilities
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll be responsible for evaluating, assessing, and treating patients according to their individualized care plans. Your responsibilities will include:
• Completing evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with policy and the individualized care plan.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and records.
• Adhering to established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice.
• Prioritizing patient care and demonstrating initiative and sound judgment.
• Completing all required orientations, in-services, and trainings successfully and in a timely manner.
Requirements
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• A valid professional SLP license in the state of practice.
• Graduation from an ASHA accredited school. If foreign-trained, the program must be deemed substantially equivalent to a Speech Language Pathology entry level education in the U.S. by a credentials evaluation organization approved by ASHA.
