Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Pharmacy Director to lead our pharmacy team at Cross Country Healthcare. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient use of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the pharmacy department, including staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Medication Management: Oversee medication management, including procurement, storage, and dispensing processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes.
  • Performance Metrics and Quality Improvement: Monitor and analyze pharmacy performance metrics, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Financial Management: Manage the pharmacy budget, including cost control and resource allocation.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends and advancements in pharmacotherapy to drive innovation within the department.
Requirements
  • Education: PharmD or equivalent degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
  • License: Current pharmacist license in Idaho or ability to obtain.
  • Experience: Years of progressive experience in pharmacy management, including leadership roles.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, clinical pharmacy practices, and medication therapy management.
  • Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Financial Management: Proven ability to manage budgets and drive performance improvement.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy management systems.
