The J.R. Simplot Company, a leading global food and agriculture company, is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the GF Plant in Othello. We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in electrical systems maintenance and repair. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining high-voltage electrical systems, as well as a deep understanding of electrical safety practices and procedures.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems within our facility. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, identifying and resolving equipment malfunctions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

About the Role

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on high-voltage electrical systems, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, working closely with technicians and engineers to identify root causes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and address any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including time spent, materials used, and outcomes.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
