About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians and other cardiovascular lab personnel in preparing the Cath Lab room for cases. You will be responsible for recognizing cardiac pressure forms recorded and cardiac thermodynamics parameters, performing cardiac thermodynamic calculations, and reporting any abnormal values to the physician.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in clearing and preparing the Cath Lab room for cases
  • Recognize cardiac pressure forms recorded and cardiac thermodynamics parameters
  • Perform cardiac thermodynamic calculations and report any abnormal values to the physician
  • Review and update procedures logs immediately after each procedure
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification
  • State Registered Radiologic Technologist certification
  • Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree
