Job Summary:As a Clinic Psychologist, you will provide high-quality mental health care to Kaiser Permanente members in a cost-effective manner, adhering to accepted professional practice standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality mental health care through direct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with mental health needs and co-occurring chemical dependency disorders.
- Rapidly and accurately document face-to-face assessments and care in patients' permanent records, adhering to accepted medical and legal standards.
- Provide case management through triaging, referrals, reporting to other providers, and contact with outside agencies.
- Participate effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Ability to prioritize and manage crisis interventions for at-risk patients to ensure patient and community safety.
- Two (2) years of clinical experience.
- Masters-level degree or higher required (M.S.W., M.S., M.A., M.Ed.).
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Oregon) required at hire OR Psychologist License (Oregon) required at hire OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Oregon) required at hire OR Professional Counselor License (Oregon) required at hire.
- Five (5) years of clinical experience.
- Two (2) years of emergency department and/or equivalent crisis mental health clinical experience within the last five (5) years.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care.
- Working knowledge of relevant outcome measures.
- Familiarity with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
