Emergency Medical Technician

As a Medical Transport Specialist with Northern Light Health, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and transportation services. This position requires a skilled and compassionate individual who can assess patients, manage emergencies, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain all licenses and certifications required to hold current licensure and remain employed.
• Cooperate and comply with established EMS' Quality Assurance process and other essential documents.
• Offer flexibility in scheduling matters, including working late, arriving early, and augmenting staffing when requested.
• Maintain professional conduct, appearance, and behavior, and be willing to mentor others.
• Adhere to standard precautions and other personal protective equipment (PPE) due to the presence of body fluids and chemicals.
Requirements:
• Emergency Medical Technician - Basic certification
• High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED)
Working Conditions:
This position may involve exposure to diseases or infections, noise levels being uncomfortable, and very hot or cold temperatures. You must be able to operate a company vehicle in accordance with company policy and safe practices.
