Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welding/Machining Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring our high-quality standards are met consistently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manual MIG Welding
  • Program Robots
  • Set up weld jobs with fixtures provided
  • Ability to "Cut and Etch" a weld and determine penetration
  • Monitor and control inventory of raw materials and welding/machining supplies
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to welding/machining processes
  • Maintain accurate records of all welding/machining operations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Participate in budget development and cost tracking for the welding/machining department
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, specifically in Welding/Machining
  • Proven experience in Machine Programming and working as a Manufacturing Engineer
  • Advanced knowledge of welding/machining principles, techniques, and safety standards
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to train and mentor team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and procedures
  • Proficient in using various types of welding/machining equipment and tools
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • High degree of mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
