As a Cybersecurity Advisor, your key responsibilities will include evaluating client security maturity, pinpointing areas for enhancement, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in the security landscape
  • Assess client security frameworks against established benchmarks
  • Support clients in defining their cybersecurity maturity levels
  • Investigate new threats and develop countermeasures
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on SilverSky’s offerings
  • Advise on security practices to mitigate identified risks
  • Manage compliance-related initiatives for clients
  • Compile and present findings in client review sessions
  • Maintain comprehensive information security risk documentation
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Information Security or relevant experience
  • 2-3 years of experience with security and compliance frameworks
  • Familiarity with standards such as NIST, ISO27000, CMMC, HIPAA, GLBA
  • Excellent communication and client management abilities
  • Capability to convey complex information to diverse audiences
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
Desirable Attributes:
  • Prior experience in client advisory or cybersecurity services
  • Understanding of Security Training & Awareness initiatives
  • Experience with Vulnerability Assessment methodologies
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CRISC, CISM, CISSP
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
