Mixology Professional

The Country Club is seeking a skilled Mixology Professional to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to our members and guests.

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) matching program.

As a Mixology Professional, you will be responsible for the setup and break down of the bar, restocking liquor, wine, and beer, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area. You will also be responsible for daily sales entry in our point-of-sale system and overseeing beverage service in multiple dining rooms and the cocktail area.

You will work closely with the Beverage Manager to assist with administrative tasks, including inventory management, monitoring and changing wine menus, and assisting with wine education and tastings. Additionally, you will help coordinate part-time bar staff during events.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of food and beverage principles, preferably gained in a private club environment. You should also possess basic reading and writing skills, as well as the ability to speak English conversationally. A TIPS certification is required.

You should be able to stand for extended periods, carry trays, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, reach, and use a touch screen for our POS system.

This is a part-time hourly position, non-exempt from overtime pay. You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
