Key Responsibilities- Customer Interaction
- Interpret customer descriptions of vehicle symptoms and clarify issues to ensure accurate diagnosis and repair.
- Develop strong relationships with customers to build trust and loyalty.
- Service Scheduling
- Work with customers to schedule service appointments and ensure prompt and accurate diagnosis of any problems.
- Estimating and Repair
- Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor, including deductibles, and set expectations for cost and completion.
- Prepare repair orders and arrange service or repair.
- Documentation and Compliance
- Ensure required documentation is complete and follows regulations and standards.
- Experience and Skills
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Education and Certifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CDK experience a plus.
- Personal Qualities
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent attendance record and commitment to being on time.
- Valid and clean NY state driver's license.
