Family Medicine Position Overview
Christus Health is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Family Medicine team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages, with a focus on pediatrics and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including routine check-ups, sick visits, and chronic disease management
- Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with our team of healthcare professionals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in Family Medicine
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
- Current licensure in the state of Texas or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience as a fully licensed Physician Assistant in Family Medicine
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
