Roadway Safety Monitor

The Construction Site Coordinator is responsible for managing traffic flow within construction sites. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
Compensation and Perks:
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $41,000 per year, based on an 8-hour shift and 40 hours of work per week. Benefits include dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
Main Responsibilities:
• Coordinate traffic flow within construction sites
• Ensure the safety of motorists, construction workers, and oneself
• Work collaboratively with other flaggers and construction workers
• Communicate effectively with the public and management
Necessary Qualifications:
• Be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license with no more than 3 points in a 2-year period
• Possess a valid drivers license with no DUIs or similar citations in the past two years
• Pass a drug screening test and background assessment screening
• Ability to obtain a flagger certification card
Workplace Conditions:
This role involves working in various weather conditions, including snow, rain, extreme heat, and cold. Flaggers often stand for long shifts with few breaks.
