Job Title: Local CDL Route Driver

Safety-Kleen, a leading provider of environmental, energy, and industrial services, is seeking a skilled Local CDL Route Driver to join their team.

Job Summary:

This role involves driving a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services in a defined route.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes.
  • Visit 10-12 customer sites per day, switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions, and service parts washer machines.
  • Up-sell at customer locations, generate new leads in the field, and complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pick-ups in a timely manner.
  • Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules, and safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state, and federal requirements.
Requirements:
  • Class B CDL
  • Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment
  • Basic computer and math skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and strong customer service skills
  • Perform physical functions per job requirements and successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL)
