We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Care department. As a Registered Nurse Special Procedures, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and performing specialized procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during special procedures and identify any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac patients.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or recognized Compact Licensure.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Advanced certifications (i.e. CEN, TNCC, etc.) preferred.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
- A minimum of one year acute care hospital RN experience preferred.
