Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled GSE Mechanic to join our team at Menzies Aviation. As a GSE Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment, ensuring that our aircraft services team can operate effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and repair ground support equipment, including gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Perform daily equipment checks and troubleshoot issues with equipment
  • Repair and replace tires and wheels, and perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on equipment
  • Drive and operate service equipment vehicles, and ensure a safe and secure work environment
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure that all work is completed in a timely fashion with quality workmanship
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of mechanical experience, with a focus on diesel and military general service equipment
  • Valid US driver's license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English
  • Comfortable lifting/moving up to 70lbs and working in all weather conditions
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required airport badges
