Dental Hygienist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated RDH Dental Hygienist to join our team at Mayday Dental Staffing. This is a permanent full-time or part-time position in a general dental office located in El Cerrito, California.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for performing hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings, and x-rays. They will also educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene and provide instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods.
Responsibilities- Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings, and x-rays.
- Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene and provide instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods.
- Communicate with the doctor where there are opportunities for restorative and/or periodontal needs.
- Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patients and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients.
