Lead Painter

TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Painter to join our team in Cartersville, GA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal and other surfaces to the highest standards.

• Operate conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other surfaces.
• Mix and apply various paint systems, including alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, and urethane.
• Adjust nozzles on spray guns to achieve the proper dispersion of the spray and monitor paint flow and viscosity.
• Clean paint lines, paint guns, and perform other cleaning preventative maintenance tasks to ensure painting apparatus remains in working order.
• Regulate temperature and air circulation in drying ovens.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with safety initiatives and maintaining accurate records.

• 1-3 years of practical paint spray experience.
• Ability to work first shift hours, Monday through Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm.
