Job Summary

Inova Health System is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Oxon Hill, Maryland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer sound patient care practices according to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient departmental operations.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Provide clinical services according to diagnostic echo vascular principles, theory, and practice standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school/program of diagnostic medical sonography.
  • ARDMS Registered with RDCS Certification or CCI Registered with RCS, Certification for Echo, or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with the RVS, Certification for Vascular Sonography.
  • Three years or more of experience in a hospital/healthcare environment in the performance of cardiac or vascular sonography.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
