About the Role

Aegis Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Houston, TX. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with established requirements and standards
  • Identify and report non-conformances and participate in the development and execution of corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures and work instructions
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on quality assurance procedures and best practices
Requirements
  • High school diploma plus 4 years of experience working in a quality assurance inspection environment, or equivalent applicable experience
  • Current inspection certification in IPC J-STD-001 with Space Addendum Requirement for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies
  • Current inspection certification in NASA-STD Workmanship Standard for Crimping, Interconnecting Cables, Harnesses and Wiring
  • Current inspection certification in NASA-STD for Polymeric Application on Electronic Assemblies
  • Current NASA/RITF certification in Electrostatic Discharge Level 2
Desired Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in NASA/Government related inspection work
  • Previous experience in property and logistics management for engineering/manufacturing operations
  • Previous experience in property and logistics management for NASA, or other Federal Government Agencies
