Job Summary

The Class A Truck Driver performs a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans, ensuring a safe and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to company's safety protocols.
  • Review daily schedules to determine supply needs and accuracy of routing.
  • Ensure daily supplies are on vehicle before leaving the dock to proceed with daily schedules.
  • Communicate with logistics departments at the end of each stop on scheduled routes.
  • Complete daily drive route sheets.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections.
  • Perform vehicle fueling and turn in corresponding receipts to logistics managers.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must possess a valid Class A Driver License.
  • Position requires a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • 3+ years (preferred) of tractor trailer (dump trailer, flatbed, van trailer) or roll-off truck driving experience.
  • Must possess a current clear motor vehicle report.
  • Must communicate in English (oral and written).
  • Must pass DOT physical and drug testing requirements.
  • Must understand Basic DOT Regulations.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear.

  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
