Job Title: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

At First Step, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting mental health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish a rapport with clients and other healthcare professionals to identify care requirements and provide emotional and psychological support.
  • Assist physicians with medical and psychiatric clinics, promoting client independence and self-care skills.
  • Provide psychoeducational groups and ensure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and measuring health outcomes.
  • Document client care services and maintain confidentiality, adhering to agency policies and procedures.
  • Support other units as needed and maintain a professional working relationship with clients and colleagues.
