Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our safety-conscious team. As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairing of all company fleet at branch locations throughout the area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues.
  • Inspect and test diesel engines to identify any potential problems or areas of improvement.
  • Repair or replace faulty parts, such as brakes, shocks, struts, and suspension systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on diesel engines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to assist with repairs.
  • Operate and maintain equipment used in diesel engine repair, such as lifts and diagnostic tools.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components.
  • Familiarity with tractor-trailers, industrial equipment, and other diesel-powered machinery.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and find effective solutions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy equipment or parts.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
