Physician - Hematology and Oncology Specialist - Mercy Springfield Missouri

Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible physician to join our comprehensive cancer center in Springfield, Missouri. Our team consists of 8 hematology/oncology physicians, 11 APPs, 3 radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, and a dedicated support team providing high-quality oncology care.
We offer the latest in cancer technology and treatment options, including genetic counseling, 3D mammography, Cyberknife, and PET scan. Our physicians enjoy a 4-day workweek and 1:9 call coverage, resulting in a great work-life balance.
The position offers a consult-service only model, with a cancer center located on the main hospital campus. Our team includes outstanding support staff, including RNs, MAs, navigators, survivorship coordinators, genetic counselors, and social workers.
We have a multi-disciplinary tumor board and surgical oncology services, including head and neck, Gyn/Oncology, Urology, and Colorectal Surgery. Outreach opportunities are available for strong practice growth, with high need and access to patients right away.
This position offers a physician-led, integrated healthcare system with a focus on patient experience. We provide a $600,000 income guarantee and a wRVU productivity-based model. Our system-wide Epic EMR ensures seamless communication and care coordination.
We offer a welcoming environment, with a 886-bed tertiary hospital and 600+ locally employed physicians across all specialties. An APP supervision stipend is available, as well as flexible recruitment incentives, including a sign-on bonus and fellowship stipends.
Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision, and CME, with retirement plans available with employer contribution and matching options. A relocation package and professional liability coverage are also provided.
