Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a full-time, school-based position in Elkhart, Indiana.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Assessments: Identify students' needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop Therapy Plans: Create individualized therapy plans to support students' educational goals.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Deliver therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with School Staff: Work with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational goals.
  • Monitor Progress: Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Attend IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy: Hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid Indiana State License: Possess a valid Indiana state license as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous School-Based Experience: Preferably have previous school-based experience.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
