Total Tire Solutions is a locally owned and operated business dedicated to providing exceptional tire services across multiple locations.
As a Commercial Tire Technician, your primary responsibilities will include evaluating and diagnosing tire issues on customer vehicles, executing tire repairs or replacements, and ensuring proper tire balance and rotation. Additionally, you may be called upon to provide roadside assistance and will be expected to be on call at least once a month during your designated week.
To excel in this role, you should possess strong communication abilities and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. A quick learner who can effectively follow our shop's procedures is essential. Attention to detail, along with a commitment to integrity and fairness, is crucial. Ultimately, an exceptional tire technician can work efficiently while upholding high industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with customers to discuss any tire-related concerns.
- Assessing tire tread depth and wear patterns.
- Advising on suitable repair options or tire replacements.
- Repairing tire punctures and replacing valve stems.
- Mounting and dismounting tires as needed.
- Balancing tires and performing wheel alignment tasks.
- Managing inventory and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Conducting roadside repairs when necessary.
- Documenting all work accurately on service orders.
- Reviewing service orders and collaborating with service advisors as required.
- Adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Working in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Documenting any physical damage observed on vehicles.
- Conducting thorough vehicle inspections.
- Participating in ongoing training programs.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and prior experience as a tire technician.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
- Physical capability to lift heavy items.
- Ability to maintain a crouched or standing position for extended periods.
